Brewing Guide
- Prerequisites for Great Coffee
- THE PUREST WATER • A cup of coffee is 97-99% water, so it makes sense to use the best. Always start with fresh, cold water - preferably filtered to guarantee purity.
- THE BEST BEANS • Sounds self-serving, but true nonetheless. Begin with the finest and freshest coffee beans.

- THE PERFECT PROPORTIONS • A standard "cup" of coffee uses six ounces of water. The standard measure of ground coffee for this quantity of water is 10 grams or slightly over a third of an ounce (or, simply, two tablespoons). - THE IDEAL BREWING TIME • Coffee's character depends on how long the ground beans are in contact with the water. Depending on your brewing method, the ideal extraction time will range from three to six minutes.
